Bird Proofing and Starling Pest ControlMost people find birds such as starlings attractive. However, they can present serious problems when large flocks regularly visit your business

As well as visiting garden bird feeders, starlings are equally happy feeding on food spillages on farms and factory sites. They often gain access to buildings to nest and feed on available food sources, building their nests in holes in walls or under the eaves of buildings. This can lead to nesting materials blocking guttering and downpipes.

Starlings are also prone to roosting inside buildings where their droppings will contaminate anything lying beneath. Because they tend to flock in large numbers, they can quite easily cause contamination of bulk food stuffs on farms and commercial food premises.

Our technicians are experienced in dealing with pest birds. We use discreet, cost-effective methods of bird control that won’t harm the birds or disrupt your business.

It is important to note that it is illegal to interfere with or disturb nesting birds, and extreme caution should be exercised in dealing with any birds. Speak to the experts first.

In this recent case study, we demonstrate how and why we advocate bird-proofing solar panels. Our customer encountered roosting and nesting pigeons beneath their panels, resulting in gutters blocked with guano and noisy bird neighbours! To address this issue, our expert team conducted an assessment and devised a cost-effective and efficient solution to prevent future pigeon nesting. Read more here.
